Cesar L. Alvarez
Co-Vice ChairmanCesar L. Alvarez has served on our Board since 1997, excluding a brief hiatus between 2015 and 2017. Cesar holds degrees in law and an MBA from the University of Florida, and is a Senior Chairman of Greenberg Traurig, P.A., an international law firm that he has helped build over his more than 53 years with the firm into one of the top ten law firms in the United States. During his tenure at the law firm, Cesar also served as CEO and Executive Chairman. He serves on boards of two other public companies: Precigen, Inc. (chair of the nominating and governance committee), a clinical stage pharmaceutical company and The St. Joe Company (member of the audit, compensation and governance committees), a long-standing Florida-based land development company. His successful track record of building and growing a large law firm, entrepreneurial spirit, business-building skills and extensive corporate governance experience make him a vital member of our Board. Present Roles: Cesar serves as our Co-Vice Chairman and as a member of the Strategy Committee.
