and your air conditioning is on the blink, where can you find a fast and

Communication between the homeowner and contractors is facilitated by electronic mail and on-line pager access.
ACDoctor.com also offers links to financing sources where leading national lenders provide tools such as loan calculators, financing information and on-line applications. Wells Fargo is the first financial institution to participate on the site, with links to its home equity financing site. Additional major financial institutions have committed to participate and will be added in stages.

In addition, the site gives contractors e-commerce capabilities such as on-line product ordering and fulfillment, as well as easy access to a reference library with technical and service bulletins and vendor catalogs from major manufacturers.
As part of their membership subscription, contractors will also get their own customized website, which will be linked to consumer inquiries for contractor services. "By targeting this site to consumers, Watsco is offering HVAC/R contractors a cost-effective means to use the Internet to advertise and market their services," said Albert Nahmad, President and Chief Executive Officer of Watsco.
